Irene and I enjoy our spa pretty much daily. In the winter time at least it is lovely to walk across from our bedroom and jump into the pool, letting the jets blast away the sore muscles and tension. It is also a great place to talk or just relax together, and we read our books there too.
Today was a special day, though: not only did we enjoy the spa, but we also had a significant snowfall. The white fluffy stuff is almost magical when it first starts to fall. I had to shovel the darn stuff, then get the lawn tractor out and use the snowblower on the driveway, so the magic started to fade by the end of the afternoon.
Setting aside the need to clear driveways and sidewalks, the new snow is truly a marvel of nature. And spending time in the spa after clearing the snow brought that magic back to the forefront.
Some pictures from the spa
Irene insisted that I take some photos from our vantage point sitting in the spa. There was some resistance on her pert to any photos including her, but I snuck a few in.
