I read an article today in Wired about the creation of the “Inside the Manosphere” documentary on Netflix. I may have to watch the actual documentary now as the article intrigued me.

Concealed carry is a crime now?
The U.S. gun lobby is furiously pushing back against a Trump-government narrative after a Veteran Affairs nurse Alex Pretti was murdered by ICE agents. I am using the word ‘murder’ here intentionally: this was not a legal action performed by bonafide police officers. Instead, this was the brutal shooting of a man who by all evidence had already been disarmed during an otherwise peaceful protest.

I heard several news reports regarding some study performed recently on Canadian attitudes towards immigrants. The conclusion was that Canadians are less tolerant than we used to be, and several of the news reports said we are “more racist”. They then cited such things as requiring Moslem women to reveal their faces for ID purposes when voting, and referenced our vaunted “cultural mosaic” political mantra.
