Sleep eating…that explains my pot belly

Apparently some folks taking a sleep aid named Ambien are experiencing episodes of sleep eating. They wake up to find their kitchen in disarray, crumbs in their bed, and a full feeling in their stomach.

At first I was concerned that I wasn’t taking Ambien, but I read further in the article and found that some folks display this condition without taking the drug. Now I can explain the extra layer of fat around my belly- I must be sleep eating. It couldn’t be the junk food I eat while watching TV- that’s its own special food group…
