If you subscribe through the WordPress Reader, the like button worked/works/still works. I think I managed to read/like some of your posts during Blaugust that way.

In fact, I am much more likely to like something in the reader as a way to mark what I have read in the list of new posts, which I supposed means that I may not like your post at all, but I have at least acknowledged its existence.
