Good morning, Oblivions…is the final “s” intentional?

I agree- the human body is pretty amazing, both in good and bad ways. As is modern medicine- they can replace a bone joint with steel and the body reforms around it and functions normally. All that’s left a few weeks later is a 4″ scar.

Irene went through the whole ordeal without pants. I did grab her a robe, but mostly that was to keep her warm when she started getting shocky. Fortunately, the emergency personnel sort of hustled her in to ER through the back door, and she went almost directly to a bed which is where we waited the two hours.

Thankfully, it was about 10 degrees celsius that night/morning, and I was able to park close to the ER exit so we could make a quick get-away after everything was done.
