Facilities Maintenance Man: vying for world’s most boring superhero with Tax Form Man 😉

I was thinking about the water lines to the laundry room too before the cold hit, Chris. I had asked about getting them heat-line wrapped, but that’s not really possible without cutting out the drywall. I’m going to ask the heating/plumbing guy about running some hot air ducting from the furnace to the joists where the pipes run in the utility room- it might not help, but worth a shot.

The water system in the garage was a stupid one on my part. I was thinking about carbon monoxide from the car, but forgot about how quickly that area would cool down. It sits at about 5-10 degrees C, so opening the garage door dropped the temperature by 10+ degrees pretty quickly.

I don’t really want to heat the whole garage, but the pipes are exposed so hopefully we can install some heat line and insulation to reduce the chance of freezing the next time I’m stupid.
