I’ve been taking pictures of my computers for years. So I’ve been eccentric for years 😉

In all seriousness, the computers in my life are as big a deal to me as, say, cars are to some guys. Probably even more so, since I spend so much time with my computers, and they serve so many different purposes beyond just “getting around”. They define periods of my life, interests adopted and left behind, challenges and success. In sort of the same way you look at your yard with pride, remembering all the things you’ve done over the years to make it what it is, I look at my computers.

I also think that the pictures help other folks looking at buying, building, or upgrading a computer when they come to my site. A lot more “tangible” than just the words, at least.
