I have an NV+ that I upgraded to 1gig of memory, running 4 1TB drives through a netgear switch to my p.c. I regularly get 35mb/s transfer speed and I have had it up to 46mb/s before! Sorry to poop the party somewhat, but for the sake of $50 [or £30 over here ;)] of RAM you can increase transfer by 10mb/s comfortably. I also turned jumbo frames off as well. It seems to need a bit of tweaking but I spent maybe 4-5 hours tweaking it. Time some people may not have, but over time you’ll get it back because you won’t be waiting for transfers all the time! Plus you’ll have saved yourself £450/ $600 which makes sense from anybody’s point of view! I reckon if you tweaked the NV+ the same way you could get 100mb/s transfer if you really wanted!
