Big Beaver Homecoming

Family is an important part of most people’s lives. My family is pretty big: I have five brothers and sisters, and lots of cousins, nephews, nieces, aunts and uncles. But we don’t get together very often.

This August, Big Beaver, Saskatchewan had its 75th annivesary Homecoming. Big Beaver is the “home town” of the Gillies family (Mom’s family), and since the Gillies clan is really the part of the family I consider “my” family, it seemed like a natural setting for bringing us together.
